Dytch 66, Ease One, Tarajosu, Reef and Davia King spent a week working on site-specific installations at Stage This! an upcoming production space in the Frogtown neighborhood of Los Angeles. Their varying styles debuted in time for the 10th annual Frogtown Art Walk along the LA River Trail. Each installation was created using discarded, donated and upcycled paint from COlabs newest partner, montage paint. The ultimate goal behind this new pairing is to emphasize the importance of environmental responsiblity by utilizing the generous donations of recycled/discarded/mistinted paint (otherwise destined for a landfill) collected at the montage facility. Art at Stage This! was the first of many works produced by COlabs created using 100% recycled acrylic paint.
